Mike Bloomberg is once again in the top five of The Chronicle of Philanthropy’s 50 Most Generous People in America. The various contributions he made in 2011 placed him fifth on the list, among other business executives and entrepreneurs. The entities Mike Bloomberg supported in 2011 range from the Sierra Club, to the World Lung Foundation, to the Global Road Safety Partnership in Geneva.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy provided details on Mike Bloomberg’s generous contributions:

“Mr. Bloomberg gave a total of nearly $311.3-million to 1,185 nonprofits that support the arts, human services, public affairs, and other causes.”
